About CYB

There are franchise packages that suit absolutely any pocket, some are even free! Like everything in life though, you pay for what you get. If you haven't paid anything up-front to the franchisor, how much effort do you think they will put into training and help? Its all about risk; if you have a lot to lose, you are going to put a bit of work into it. If you have paid £100 for a book about how to run a business and you end up not even looking at it, then you haven't lost out too much.
Some examples of cost levels include:
- Utility Warehouse Discount Club
Become an authorised distributor for this company selling low cost gas, electricity, broadband, mobile phones and telephone calls for under £200.00. No stock to hold and you can work part time, helping people save money on household bills. More info...
- OvenU Oven Cleaning Franchise
Cleaning ovens using the OvenU method will cost you just under £10,000 to start your franchise area. This could earn you up to £30,000 a year profit.
- Prontaprint Printing Franchise
Setting up shop with Prontaprint will enable you to provide printing services on your high street and set you back around £120,000. You could turnover around £1million in a year if you perform like one of their top outlets.

Due Diligence
Due diligence just means doing your research. Even with a well respected franchise you need to satisfy yourself and anyone lending you money that everything is above board and how it should be.
The last thing you need when taking the step of starting a business is to find out you have bought a franchise with no geographical restrictions and have anthother franchisee already working in your town.
"I went to a franchisees training session where I would meet people like me. I bumped onto someone I recognised over lunch - he lives in the next street! We are both trying to make a go our businesses but if I had known I would have thought twice before handing over my £8,500 franchise fee"
