Ideas are ten a penny. It's the people who do something about them that make a difference. But in this section, we'll look at how to run a brainstorming session. You can't really do this alone, so find some people!
There are 3 rules with running these sessions. Firstly, you must get everyone relaxed. Go to a different room, go to a pub (my favourite) and start by telling everyone the next two rules.
Secondly, everyone must be encouraged to take part. You can help this by telling everyone they can't talk unless they are holding a ball/stapler or some other object, and then keep throwing the object to each other. This will buy you some time as you write everything down.
Finally, do not at this stage discount anything, no matter how crazy. Never judge or dismiss ideas.
