As the official guide for the life in UK test you don't need to read anything else, but if after reading it you don't feel confident you should consider buying a book with questions and answers to understand better how the test works.

me and 3 of my family member passed the test using above book,
we never touched the official book.
Don't waste your money on this book.
When you call the Home office, they recommend this book, but DO ignore them.

I did not have this text when I started studying for the Life in the UK Test. But I found that I could only have this book for the test. It is also very easy to understand British history, culture and laws.
Good luck all of you who need to take the test!!
