Brilliant Book - DONT BUY FROM AMAZON July 8, 2010

The book has everything any criminologist could need. I study law but chose a criminology module and this book completely covered everything we done, and apart from cases (which the book would obviously not have anyways) I rarely had to look elsewhere. Recommend entirely.
However, do not buy from amazon, after forking out quite a bit of cash for this book, i expected a pretty pristine copy, but no. the book i received could hardly be described as "new", the back was all bashed up there were markings on the side etc. may be a bit pedantic but i expect a "new" book when i pay for one!!

I was given this book as a gift when I was taking my Criminology class. I loved this book. I almost read it cover to cover. Very well written in my opinion. I think it is one of the very few textbooks that I enjoyed reading.
