This is a book that you need to get things started especially if you are lacking motivation or have an element of fear about investing in the property market. It is an easy to read, to the point and very practical. I especially liked the real life examples that were used through out the book. I believe that the author truly wants to share his knowledege and help educate the readers to become successful investors through the methods laid out in the 3 + 1 plan.

This is an easy book to read and yet covers all the points about starting off in buy to let and owning property in a clear easy to understand way. I found it a very useful source of information and would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying property and looking to build a property portfollio. Go ahead and spend the money - its well worth it.

Having dabbled in property investment over the past 10 years, and with some success, I wanted to invest in a more structured way to fund my retirement. During my research, I came across this book and after reading it twice I have not looked back. I now own a portfolio of 12 properties, something that I would have never thought possible, and completely manageable without it becoming a full-time job.
If you're interested in property investment, and want to see how you can make it work for you, then read this book - it will open your eyes to the possibilities.

For those of us who are not natural entrepreneurs, I found this book enlightening, informative and entertaining. In the same way as "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie, "The 3+1 Plan" shows that getting ahead of the game is not `rocket science'.
