The kind of person you are will probably determine the kind of business you want. Everyone says they want to do as little work as possible but earn lots of money. Well, unless you have invented a water powered car or can create gold from lead, be prepared for some late nights and lost sleep.
Get rich quick schemes are for the gullible, just think for one moment - if it was that easy; why isn't every driving round in a Ferrari when they are not in the Bahamas? There are business models (ways of running a business) that do require little ongoing work, once a customer is signed up, but this means that you will still have to work hard to sell your service or product to new customers.

If there are two things that make successful people its these:
- Desire
You have got to want it. If you are being forced into self employment through family pressure, redundancy or anything else, think hard about why you are doing it. Lack of desire is a recipe for disappointment.
- Determination
The world is brimming with talent, but people with average skills can be very successful if they can see a project through. You can see genius musicians busking and graduates working serving fries at fast food restaurants any day of the week. The starving artist and out of work actor just do not have the drive and determination to make things happen. A great idea isn't worth a penny, unless you either do something about it or find someone else who will.
If you have a talent or great idea too, then what are you waiting for?!!!!
